# What is Stablz?

Stablz is an ever-evolving yield capturing protocol built on top of existing farming protocols. Our goal is to simplify yield earning both in terms of searching for safe places to store liquidity, and earn as much real yield as possible, delivered directly to depositors.

Stablz is inspired by the ethos of defi, which is transparency and non-custody of funds. Everyone should have full autonomy of their funds and Stablz as a platform assumes as little liability as possible. Stablz protocol earns fees from generating and locking in yield for its users; nothing else. \
\
Stablz will begin using stablecoin pairs to help mitigate risks during the bear market but over time will continue to expand to stable but non-stablecoin pairs (such as stETH-ETH), and other products such as providing liquidity to operations (such as casino bankrolling pools). \
\
Stablz is defined by its ability to continually evolve within the dynamic landscape of blockchain and Decentralized Finance, remaining at the forefront of the latest advancements while ensuring the highest standards of safety and security.
